Con una dimensión superior a los 21 m2 Poni Aloha estaba dibujado con miles de trazos realizados con lápiz de grafito. Y, aunque se trataba de una escena inmóvil, esta parecía ondular sutilmente con la incidencia del sol durante las diferentes horas del día. Un efecto casi imperceptible, hipnótico, conseguido gracias a la luz cenital filtrada a través de la bóveda de cristal que cubre el edificio, actualmente ciega con una lona que aísla el espacio del exterior.
Como una suerte de Tableau vivant, o de cielo amenazador allá al fondo, Poni Aloha era una invitación a realizar un viaje físico y mental que partía del detalle más insignificante de la pared intervenida, hasta llegar, por así decirlo, a la proyección o la visión subjetiva de imágenes mentales intensamente abstractas y sublimes, sensuales, sensoriales y evocadoras. Una propuesta a modo de arco conceptual invisible que reflexionaba sobre las huellas del tiempo, del sujeto como espectador, y de lo transitorio y permanente.

Measuring over 21 square metres, Poni Aloha was drawn with thousands of strokes with a graphite pencil. Although it was a static scene, it seemed to waver slightly depending on the way the sunlight affected it over the course of the day. An almost imperceptible, hypnotic effect achieved thanks to the lighting that filters in through the glass dome of the building, currently covered over with canvas that isolates the inside space.
Like a tableau vivant of sorts, or the threatening sky at the end, Poni Aloha was an invitation to set out on a physical and mental journey that started with the most insignificant detail of the intervened wall, until arriving at the projection or the subjective vision of the intensely abstract and sublime, sensual, sensorial and redolent mental images. A proposal like an invisible conceptual arch that reflected on the traces of time, of the subject as spectator, and on fleetingness and permanence.
