Trabajo en mis cuadernos desde los años de facultad. Con el paso del tiempo los he llegado a considerar «talleres portátiles» pues me han acompañado en mis diferentes mudanzas, viajes y residencias. Unos, más bien podríamos considerar, libros de artista privados donde desarrollo mis proyectos, acumulo ideas y cualquier otro material de la entropía visual contemporánea que, por determinada razón, llamen mi atención. En su conjunto funcionan como auténticos «cuadernos de bitácora» de un particular maridaje entre biografía y reflexión estética.
I have worked with my notebooks since my time at college. With the passing of time I have even looked on them as a kind of «portable studio» that I have taken with me wherever I go, on my journeys, residencies and changes of home. One could even consider them to be private artist’s books where I develope my projects, accumulate ideas and any other materials of contemporary visual entropy which catch mt attention for whatever reason. Taken overall, they operate as authentic «logbooks» of a personal pairing of biography and aesthetic reflection.
