The celestial omnibus pertenece a una serie de acciones donde el dibujo es disciplina cartográfica, herramienta de conocimiento y metáfora visual de un espacio -y un tiempo- que se cuestiona y se ocupa.
De nuevo, como en mis trabajos anteriores, el punto de partida de este mural efímero vuelve a ser un elemento gráfico mínimo que se repite sin cesar. En este caso miles de trazos que desde el gris más suave al negro más intenso crecen hasta ocupar y habitarlo todo*.
Un proceso sistemático, ordenado e insistente en el que, sin embargo, el azar vuelve a estar presente en los cambios de dirección e intensidad que se aprecian en el dibujo; que a veces parece perderse, hundirse, para de nuevo volver a emerger. Una serie de giros inconscientes que al intentar corregir -una y otra vez para volver a la dirección inicial- describen y precipitan grandes abismos y pequeñas historias.
El resultado final de este proceso es una gran mancha que blinda completamente todo el paramento. Una pared que se hace presente -como un diario que revela lo que oculta-, se expande y se proyecta sobre los árboles que vemos a través del gran ventanal que abre nuestra visión hacia el exterior; una masa boscosa que se mueve, de alguna manera, al mismo ritmo que parece mecer el muro.

The Celestial Omnibus is part of a series of actions based on drawing as a cartographic discipline, a tool for knowledge and a visual metaphor for a space -and a time- that is brought into question and occupied.
Similar to my previous works, the starting point for this ephemeral mural is again an endlessly repeated minimal graphic element. In this case, thousands of pencil strokes, ranging from soft grey to dark black, accumulated until they completely take over everything.*
A systematic, ordered and persistent process in which randomness nevertheless has a role to play in the changes of direction and intensity one can appreciate in the drawing. At times it seems to lose its way or collapse only to come back again. A series of unconscious shifts that, when trying to correct them over and over again in order to return to the initial direction, describe and precipitate vast chasms and brief stories.
The end result of this process is a large stain that completely covers the whole face. A wall that takes on presence -like a diary that reveals what it hides- and expands and projects over the trees we see through the large window that extends our view towards the outside; a wooded mass that somehow moves to the same rhythm that seems to sway the wall.
