La serie Teorías… es un desarrollo a menor escala de Memories of Love. Si en Memories of love (intro) –fotografía del citado proyecto- atendía y me centraba en los aspectos espaciales de la imagen, en este conjunto de dípticos mucho más abstractos y concretos -como si se tratasen de unas siniestras Verónicas- el marco de la toma se limita al frottage, mientras que el resto del papel permanece virgen, con su blanco original.
Una vez instalados, papel de calco e imagen funcionan como una bisagra. Positivo y negativo son valores intercambiables que se complementan, y ambas partes son huella y reverberación de su opuesto.
Realizados en espacios supuestamente anónimos, cada una de estas piezas nos muestra detalles de una orografía invisible a simple vista. Reflejos de una mirada que se recrea en lo insignificante, en lo inadvertido, en lo mínimo. Aspectos que, al fin y al cabo, delatan el paso del tiempo.

The series Theories… is a development on a smaller scale of Memories of Love. While in Memories of Love (intro) -a photo of the aforementioned project- I focused on the spatial aspects of the image, in this set of diptychs much more abstract and concrete,
-like some kind of sinister Veil of Veronica- the frame for the work is limited to the frottage, while the rest of the paper is left untouched, in its original white.
In the installation, the tracing paper and the image operate like a hinge. Positive and negative are interchangeable values that complement each other, and both parts are a trace and an echo of their opposite.
Made in supposedly anonymous spaces, each one of these pieces shows us details of a topographical relief invisible to the naked eye. Reflections of an eye that lingers on the insignificant, on the unexpected, on minimal details. Aspects that, nonetheless, disclose the passing of time.
