New Horizon
Serie de cuatro grabados. Edición de 5 ejemplares. 80 x 100 cm unidad. 2022

Series of four engraves. Edition of 5 copies. 80 x 100 cm each. 2022

«From the cave, the house we inhabit is the staging of our self, our horizon, our cage, and our space of projection.»

Parisalexanderpatroclo

«No more than the sky and the earth, the horizon is a collection of things that are held together, or a class name, or a logical possibility of conception, a being through porosity, through pregnancy, or through brilliance.»

Maurice Merleau-Ponty

A horizon—represented by these four prints—is both a physical and mental space; a boundary that is always present yet never fully reached. It is drawn as a limit, or a beyond intimately linked to the other, to difference, to the journey, the dream, and utopia. The imagined, the visible—even if only from afar—and the invisible.

New Horizon is a smaller-sized version—produced in an edition of five— of Horizon (+info). These new art works have been printed using the four basic colors of printmaking, whose combinations make everything possible.
