Durante más de una década, he ido encadenando diferentes lecturas estéticas y conceptuales a partir de observar atentamente mi propio proceso de trabajo y los errores de mi impresora casera; un viaje por el color y el paisaje desde la abstracción más radical: una materia y un tema que han recorrido intermitentemente la historia de la pintura.
Las cinco piezas que componen la serie Pedro reflejan -agrupados generando una suerte de laberintos de formas y vacíos- el orden de los miles de errores que componen Otra vida futura (+info); proyecto que a su vez recoge esos mismos errores impresos, lo que también salpican la serie de 100 multipáginas de Lo quiero todo (+info).
Pedro, obra realizada en colaboración con Ogami Press, se organiza siguiendo la gama cromática ya desarrollada en esos proyectos: rojo, cian, amarillo, blanco (círculo cromático) y negro.
Los errores de Pedro finalmente ilustraron, en una nueva formalización, el libro Oráculo (+info), cuyas páginas han sido la partitura visual de Nuevo Oráculo (+info), un divertimento animado para impresora sampleada e instrumentos de percusión.

For over a decade, I have been weaving together different aesthetic and conceptual readings by closely observing my own working process and the errors of my home printer — a journey through color and landscape from the most radical abstraction: a subject and material that have appeared intermittently throughout the history of painting.
The five pieces that make up the Pedro series reflect —grouped to form a kind of labyrinth of shapes and voids— the order of the thousands of errors that compose Otra vida futura (+info) (+info); a project that, in turn, compiles those same printed errors, which also spill into the 100 multipage works of Lo quiero todo (+info).
Pedro, a work created in collaboration with Ogami Press, is organized according to the color palette already developed in those projects: red, cyan, yellow, white (color wheel), and black.
The errors in Pedro ultimately took on a new form as illustrations for the book Oracle (+info), whose pages became the visual score for New Oracle (+info), an animated divertimento for sampled printer and percussion instruments.
